How We Work

We move cases and disputes toward resolution. We don’t let them stall. We don’t add unnecessary process, and we don’t disappear when things get hard. The goal is resolution—durable, practical, and as efficient as the matter allows.

Court-Appointed Neutral

Kick-off: Initial call within the first week to scope the work and set a schedule.

Visibility: Weekly status updates so the court knows where things stand.

Decisions: Issues get addressed as they arise—no bottlenecks.

01

Discovery Referee

Scope: Initial call to identify disputes and set priorities—what needs resolution now and what can wait.

Engagement: We dig into the specifics—ESI protocols, proportionality fights, preservation questions—and provide practical recommendations grounded in how discovery works in real cases.

Resolution: The goal is to get discovery unstuck and keep it moving.

02

Mediation*

Preparation: We review submissions in advance and come ready to work.

Flexibility: Joint sessions, caucuses, or both—whatever the dispute needs.

Follow-through: We don’t disappear. We follow up on unresolved gaps.

*Mediation services are now booking beginning June 2026.

03

Early Neutral Evaluation

Assessment: Candid review of the strengths and weaknesses both sides face.

Clarity: Written evaluation with a realistic settlement range—before discovery costs pile up.

Utility: A tool for resetting expectations, not just a second opinion.

We’ve seen how cases get stuck.
We help them move.

Our Practice Areas

Court-Appointed Neutral

We work with the court and the parties to address procedural or discovery issues, facilitate effective discussions between counsel, and help move cases toward resolution.

Our goal is to provide practical, neutral guidance that helps resolve disputes without unnecessary motion practice or delay.

Discovery Referee

Discovery disputes can slow down litigation and increase costs for everyone involved.

We work with courts and litigants to facilitate resolution of disputes over document production, privilege, and other discovery issues that have grown more complex with generative AI.

Early Neutral Evaluation

When parties are deeply committed to their positions, it can be difficult to assess how a case may actually be resolved.

We provide candid, independent feedback that helps parties evaluate risk, refine strategy, and consider opportunities for early resolution.

Mediation

Mediation works best when parties have the opportunity to step back from the momentum of litigation and take a clear look at the dispute.

Our approach is to create a structured environment where parties can evaluate their positions realistically, hear candid perspectives about risk, and explore practical paths to resolution.

Lelia Parker

Principal

I spent nine years litigating mass torts, bankruptcy disputes, insurance coverage, and commercial matters where, without intervention, discovery alone could drag on for years. I’ve handled complex commercial, eDiscovery, and AI discovery matters at the Am Law level—representing both plaintiffs and defendants.

Along the way, I worked on court-appointed neutral teams in matters before the Delaware Court of Chancery—addressing privilege disputes, proportionality questions, and the day-to-day friction that often bogs down complex cases.

That work taught me what effective neutrals actually do: keep things moving, make practical calls, and help parties reach resolution instead of getting stuck in procedural trench warfare. I started Parker Resolution Group to do that work full time.
